Adore Paul Newman. Gorgeous, smart, classy, a huge activist for and supporter of the progressive movement, AND a shining example of what it is to be a loyal and faithful husband for life to one woman. Agree w/anonymous - 83 ain't too shabby. We love ya Paul.
If you have not seen 2002's Road to Perdition, rent it. A beautiful, moving film, and Newman is extraordinary in it. It was more than likely his last Oscar nom. It's too bad he didn't actually win, because he deserved to.

Paul Newman is one of the best among the human species. He is so painfully beautiful, inside and out, it hurts. This cancer thing sucks, but I bet even in this he will set new standards and serve as an inspiration to many.
