Too late for Halloween now.
What scared you, when you were little, that made no sense to anyone else?
I was afraid of the color yellow, and the inside of my doll's head, and the way the TV sounded when it was just static. Oh, and elves. Elves were scary little assholes. Don't let anyone tell you any different.

The stuffing from furniture and stuffed animals. And I still am repelled by it.
Listen, I'm 43 years old and I still wouldn't want to meet an elf in a dark alley--or even under glaring fluorescents, for that matter.
Regular drumbeats. Did I watch too many films where cannibals were getting ready to cook and eat our plucky hero to the menacing thud of jungle drums? Took me ages to get into actual pop music, instead of kiddie music, because it kind of scared me.
